Are there seats?
Yes, the majority of our concerts have reserved seating available – reserved seats are available in varying categories and the seating plan can be found on the ticketing agency’s website. Alternatively, the General Admission section provides an alternative for those who prefer to be closer to nature and sit on the grass (picnic blankets are welcome).
We strongly recommend that anyone who requires a chair purchase a reserved seat as we cannot guarantee that BYO folding chairs will be allowed in the General Admission section at every concert.
Please be aware that while these are reserved seat shows, patrons may stand during the performance.
Can I bring food?
No, Hope Estate Winery and its outdoor concert amphitheatre is a fully catered venue and there is STRICTLY NO BYO FOOD OR BEVERAGE (including water); this will be enforced by security at entry gates. Free Water Refilling stations can be found throughout the event site. For information on locating your nearest free water station, consult one of our helpful staff.
Hope Estate offers a number of catered hospitality packages that include food & beverage along with a ticket to the concert. Or, if you prefer something more relaxed, you can pre-purchase a picnic hamper that caters for two people complete with a bottle of wine, cold meats & salad, antipasto, cheese & dessert.
Additionally, local restaurants and caterers have stalls on-site selling a variety of styles of food. Our food stalls cater for people with special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, gluten free & vegan.

Can I bring drinks with me?
No, Hope Estate Winery and its outdoor concert amphitheatre is a fully licenced venue and STRICTLY NO BYO BEVERAGE (including water); this will be enforced by security at entry gates. Free drinking water will be available on-site. Patrons may bring in empty plastic bottles or plastic or foam cups for this purpose.
We have bars located around the venue selling wine, beer, soft drink & bottled water for consumption at the concert. Spirits are not available.
Coffee vans are also on-site so you can get a caffeine hit.
In accordance with our alcohol management plan, no alcoholic beverage can be removed from the venue on concert days.

Is there ice available or can I bring my own?
No, in accordance with our alcohol management plan ice is not available, nor are patrons allowed to bring it with them as it provides the opportunity for stockpiling of drinks. This is the reason why eskies and cooler bags are not allowed in the venue.
We understand that this penalises those patrons who just want to keep their drinks cold however, it is in the interest of safety and enforcing responsible service of alcohol that this policy has been put in place.
Can I bring my own chair?
For major concert events chairs will not be permitted. Smaller concert may allow low lying chairs.
If chairs are allowed, a notice will be published on the specific concerts information page. If chairs are allowed, then low chairs with a seating height of no more than 15cm off the ground are allowed into the venue. Preferably chairs with no legs or very short (5cm) legs. No full height folding chairs are allowed in at any concert.
The restriction on chair size is to ensure all patrons can see the act and no safety hazards arise from oversized chairs.

Where do I buy tickets?
Hope Estate has Dinner & Show or Ticket & Hamper packages. Some packages are available to Hope Estate Wine Club members only – they can be purchased by calling Hope Estate’s Ticketline on 1800 777 444. Other packages are available to the general public and can be purchased on-line click here for more information or by calling Hope Estate’s Ticketline on 1800 777 444.
Tickets without catering are only available from the ticketing agency for each concert – the ticketing agency is determined by the concert promoter.

Are there Children’s Tickets?
Every patron seeking entry to the venue, irrespective of age, must hold a valid entry ticket.
Under 18’s tickets are issued at the Promoter’s discretion. Pricing, availability & allocation are set by the Promoter and are available only from ticketing agency. Please direct any questions or requests for Under 18’s tickets to the Ticketing Agency.
As Hope Estate is a licenced venue, the same rules for Under 18’s apply as your local pub. Under 18’s are not allowed to approach the bars and must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Given that Hope Estate is a large outdoor licensed venue, with very loud music, is is strongly recommended that for the safety and comfort of all patrons, we discourage the attendance of young children. The Liquor Act requires that any under 18’s that do attend must remain in the company of a responsible adult at all times.
Prams are already listed in the prohibited items list.
Do you have ATMs on site?
Yes, there is an ATM office on-site which provides cash out, it is open until the main act takes the stage.

Can I smoke at the venue?
Yes, but only in the designated smoking areas – these areas are determined by the Promoter’s site manager.
Is there accommodation on-site?
There is one small cottage on-site – this is very popular and books out quickly.
You can book accommodation at local venues through Hope Estate with any of our hospitality packages. Allocations are limited and are sold on a first-come first-served basis. For more information and availability call Hope Estate’s Ticketline on 1800 777 444.
How do I get there?
There are several options:
Bus – This is the most efficient way to come to a concert at Hope Estate. We strongly recommend that everyone catches buses which generally exit the venue in under 30 mins. A number of private coach companies offer transport from various areas.

Car – There is free car parking available on-site at Hope Estate, this is located on greenfield areas on the property with entry via Broke Road. The car parking is managed by Traffic Attendants who are employed by the concert Promoter. Disabled parking is available close to the main entry gate to the concert arena – to park in this area vehicles must have a valid disabled parking sticker displayed. Please be aware that while car parking is free and plentiful the local roads cannot cope with the number of cars and there will be delays leaving the venue. The car park closes at midnight on the day of the event and camping overnight is prohibited.
Walk – some patrons may choose to walk to a concert. If you are considering walking please note:
This is a rural location and there are no designated or paved footpaths
There is only minimal street lighting at key intersections – otherwise it is very dark.
Entry on-foot is only via the Broke Road Entrance
Can I line up early?
While we understand some patrons want to be first in to get a good position, we recommend that you line up only a short time before the advertised gates open time. There are no facilities or shade outside the venue and it can get very hot while standing in the queue. The gates will not open early just because there is a long queue.
The car park opens at a designated time on concert day, please refrain from arriving early. If you arrive early you will be turned away. Opening time is advised near the concert date via the Hope Estate website or e-mailed information from the ticketing agency.
The car park closes at midnight on the day of the event and camping overnight is prohibited.
Is the concert indoors?
No, Hope Estate is an open-air outdoor venue.
What happens if it rains?
The concert will proceed rain or shine. Only exceptionally severe weather conditions will affect the performance, so come prepared for the conditions on the day. Remember umbrellas are not allowed inside the venue.
If weather conditions deem dangerous for the artist to perform or put the patron’s safety is at risk, the promoter may cancel the concert.
What do I wear?
The amphitheatre is grass underfoot so it is advisable to wear comfortable flat shoes. Because we are at the mercy of Mother Nature it is important to dress for the weather conditions on the day. This may include a sun hat and sunscreen, warm coat, water proof jacket or poncho for inclement weather. (Umbrellas will not be allowed).
I’m coming to a Dinner Package, what time should I arrive?
Hope Estate’s dinner packages are structured to run from 4.30pm (sometimes earlier if advised). Food service will finish before the main act takes the stage. To ensure you get the most out of your package please ensure you arrive on time, if you arrive late you may miss some of the food service.
What time does the music start?
When the main act, and support act/s, take the stage varies and is dependent on the Promoter, Artist/s and the weather conditions. Playing times are usually listed on the ticketing agency’s website a couple of days before the concert.
There is time between when the gates open and when the music starts to allow patrons leisurely access without having to queue for long periods beforehand.
Please do not call the venue as we do not have this information.
What disabled facilities do you have?
Disabled parking is available near the main entry gate – entry is via Broke Road
Disabled toilets are located at either side of the stage.
Disabled seating arrangements and companion tickets are handled by the Promoter & Ticketing agency – please refer any questions to the Ticketing agency for the concert.
Who is in charge of security?
Security guards at the gates and in the venue are appointed by the concert promoter.
Security guards at the Hope Estate functions inside the building are appointed by Hope Estate
What are your policies on Responsible Service of Alcohol?
Hope Estate takes the Responsible Service of Alcohol very seriously. At every concert we have Licencing Police and user-pays Police on-site, Security Guards and RSA Marshalls at every bar as well as Security Guards and RSA Marshalls roaming the venue.
Bottle sales are limited to the first three hours after gates open, then a two drink per person limit is put in place. The bars close one hour before the concert is due to finish.
Patrons are assessed upon entry to the venue and if deemed to be intoxicated will be refused entry. Police and security guards also patrol the car park to ensure patrons are not “pre-loading” before entering the concert arena.
While we do our best to make sure Responsible Service of Alcohol is monitored and adhered to we cannot stop individuals from over indulging or having other guests purchase drinks on their behalf.
If you are concerned about the condition or behaviour of patrons near you please alert one of the Security, Police or RSA staff. Or, you can call the Security Hotline number which is posted around the venue.
Is your Restaurant open on the day of the concert?
No, Harvest is one of the Dinner & Show packages available for people attending the concert.
Can I leave the concert and come back in?
No, there are NO PASS OUTS. Once you're in you're in.
Can I visit your Cellar Door at the concert?
No, in accordance with our alcohol management plan Cellar Door is closed on concert days. We have a Wine & Beer Tasting section for patrons who wish to sample a tasting tray.
Cellar Door will reopen 10am the next morning (unless there is another concert that day).
What CAN'T I bring?
Professional Cameras, audio or video recording devices
Umbrellas, tents & sunshades
Glass, aluminium & metal containers
Drinks or drink bottles of any kind (empty plastic bottles excepted)
Picnic baskets & eskies
Illegal or illicit substances of any kind
Musical instruments or air horns
Poles, sticks, banners or oversized flags (more than 1m x 1m)
Confetti or shredded paper
Fireworks, flares or explosives
Animals (except for authorized assistance dogs)
Balls, sporting equipment, bicycles, skateboards, skates or scooters
Any other object which may be used as a missile or weapon
Any other object that the promoter considers inappropriate or dangerous.
What happens to Lost Property?
Any lost property that is found by or handed to a Hope Estate staff member is kept in the Cellar Door. You can contact Cellar Door on 02 4993 3555.
Items may be found by Security or other staff employed by the Promoter, in that case please contact the Concert Promoter’s office.
